The big day (the Heidi's wedding) has finally arrived, and Sydney turned on the perfect spring equinox. Married at midday, on the equinox, interesting omens for that joining. I did not see who stood on who's foot, but knowing both the bride and groom for many years, I'm pretty sure he stood back and let her win (as always, she is The Heidi!)
The lovely young woman in blue is Kat, my daughter.

He couldn't find her feet under the giant skirt, so she won.
(But not in the church, as the priest threatened to throw them out if they did. Apparently it's a village thing and frowned upon by the church.)
