The buildup
On the weekend I have huge plans. Knitting, eating, partying, some DVD watching probably, footy games (2) go St George, Go Collingwood, Visitng mum, and then more knitting/partying on Monday. I will be looking forward to going back to work for a rest I think. In knitting news I have finished part IV of the Shetland Pi Shawl KAL. Only one more part to go, 16 rows and then the bind off. To make the shawl loose enough for the spectactular points to show well, the second last row involves doubling the number of stitches, then finishing with a suspended bind off. Such fun.
The Noro Silk Garden Sock makes a lovely show of colours and is endlessly entertaining. Should be finished on the weekend and will follow up with photos next week.
