World Wide Knit in Public (a tale of two days and one long week)
here is the story of what is to come.Yesterday I attended a very good event in Sydney's Martin Place organised by ACS (Australian Country Spinners). There was shelter, heat, yarn needles and since I was just there, hot chocolate from the Lindt Cafe. There were new friends, and one of my daughters and her friend, all knitting for the save the children chahttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifrity (squares for children's blankets), pure wool given by ACS - think Patons, Cleckheaton, Panda amongst others. It was fun, I have now done four squares (there are 16 in a blanket, that's how small it is!
come on join in, drop offs are at Spotlight or Lindcraft, and it will make a small person warmer in a cold world!
