I'm on Ravelry user name Gemma (strangely enough). (mmmm can I go home from work with some mystery, undefined illness that will keep me off for a looonnng while???)
I must check out this Ravelry thing - I haven't had time to get my head around it all of late... glad you're on board. Try for double vision as a mystery illness (walk around with your eyes wide open, staring wildly, and bumping into things).
Must check out this Ravelry thing (or will it just bring more guilt that I *should* be knitting, quilting, cooking...). Thanks for the comment. My children are mostly grown up (at least they can feed themselves, well, sort of) and when we go back to school I get everyone else's children. I'm the teacher...
I have four wonderful children, brilliant as stars and a thorough delight to my heart.
There's currently 5 cats and 1 dog who rule the roost and there are chickens currently being hatched ready to make the Dunn Street Beer Garden their new home.
I've moved to the country and I've never been busier. I'm Secretary for the local CWA, volunteer at the Museum and have my dream job of working in a yarn shop.

Hi Gemma,
I just added you as a "friend" on Ravelry. Have fun getting acquainted with all the great features.
Your former secret swapper :-)
I can feel you temperature from here! You're terribly contagious - go home immediately.
I've got 2540 people ahead of me on Ravelry. Maybe by Christmas?
