Catherine was recently interviewed as a representative of Women in Science (she's taking part in a panel tonight on the same topic), and she was perfect to interview as it's also the International Year of Astronomy.It is pub knitting night tonight, and apparently also trivia night at the pub, at West Ryde Hotel. If you are doing nothing, we have a table booked, come along.

Hey chika,
Friday's photo shoot was PR wanting to know more about the observatory and what we do. Quentin did most of the talking while I looked photogenic. Not terribly feminist, but he's the boss.
No one has ever interviewed me about being a woman in science, though I once gave a speech on it and tonight I'll be on a panel for half an hour.
