I have four wonderful children, brilliant as stars and a thorough delight to my heart. There's currently 5 cats and 1 dog who rule the roost and there are chickens currently being hatched ready to make the Dunn Street Beer Garden their new home. I've moved to the country and I've never been busier. I'm Secretary for the local CWA, volunteer at the Museum and have my dream job of working in a yarn shop.

That should of course read shawl - but my fingers are cold and I keep missing keys! - Maybe I need some fingerless gloves!

I'm looking forward to seeing your rainbow shawl all done, and glad to see I'm not alone in having knitting paraphernalia all over the table :>
I have to say, your house is very well populated!!! My dog Holly used to be a house dog, but then when we got Ziggy I didn't have time to train him properly so they became outside dogs - if she was allowed in here now, Holly would be my footwarmer! I wonder if 7 is too old to retrain a ratbag like Ziggy??
